Los premiación más importante de la música, la 66° de los Grammys, será se realizará este domingo 4 de febrero en el Crypto.com de los Ángeles.
Este domingo 4 de febrero se celebrará la 66ª entrega de los Premios Grammy, donde la Academia Nacional de Artes y Ciencias de la Grabación reconoce los logros sobresalientes de la industria musical durante el período comprendido entre el 1 de octubre de 2022 y el 15 de septiembre de 2023.
El pasado noviembre, la Academia de Grabación anunció los artistas y canciones nominadas. SZA lidera las nominaciones este año, siendo reconocida en 9 categorías. Le siguen de cerca Phoebe Bridgers, Victoria Monét y el ingeniero musical Serban Ghenea, cada uno con siete nominaciones. Además, Jon Batiste, boygenius, Brandy Clark, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift y Jack Antonoff cuentan con seis nominaciones cada uno.
La nueva edición presenta algunos cambios, incluyendo la introducción de tres nuevas categorías: Mejor interpretación de música africana, Mejor álbum de jazz alternativo y Mejor grabación de baile pop, sumando un total de 94 nominaciones. Estas adiciones, consideradas históricas, forman parte de una serie de actualizaciones y correcciones que se implementarán de inmediato en los GRAMMY de 2024, con el propósito de mejorar la equidad, transparencia y precisión del proceso de premiación, según declaraciones del director ejecutivo de la Academia de la Grabación, Harvey Mason Jr.
